The Malhar Group Music Circle of Ontario is a not-for-profit charitable arts organization dedicated to the sole mission of promoting Indian classical music and musicians.
The Malhar Group operates in Southern Ontario of Canada and holds frequent musical events of excellent standards. The group is focused to create opportunity for all to listen to and to learn about this great musical heritage in its traditional forms.
Since 2001, The Malhar Group has been trying to meet its objectives mainly by the following programs of activities.

Lecture-Demonstrations: Another method of education and promotion employed is to hold a lecture-demonstration on a specific topic by an artist with a good ability to articulate the subject. Several such lecture-demonstrations have been held including Sitar, Tabla, Dhrupad and Khayal.
